//Following discussions between our pupils and staff at school assembly, we have taken the decision to source and use non plastic and non toxic glitter in Scoil Mhuire na n-Áird. We aim to do as much as we can to care for our Earth. Thank you boys and girls for your great contributions to this important issue.
//3rd & 4th classes will be travelling to Glendalough National Park tomorrow to celebrate Tree Day. The Park Ranger has many fun activities in store for the pupils.
//October is the month of Mary. The “Hail Mary” was voted Ireland’s favourite prayer recently. Here is one of our pupils asking her a question.
//Thank you all for your generosity sending in the Aldi tokens. We have filled one poster up already! It looks like we will fill a second poster also. Fingers crossed we have good luck in the draw.
//5th and 6th classes would like to invite you to a Cake and Coffee sale in the school hall on Friday next, October 4th. 10 am to 11 am. Funds raised will go towards the cost of new goalposts for the school pitch. Donations of baked goods will be gratefully received on the day. All welcome.
//Fr. Hayden will celebrate mass in the school hall tomorrow at 10 a.m. Parents, grandparents and other family members are very welcome to attend.
